messed up my bashrc, tried to set $PATH in an external file and then link it

Literally the only command that worked was cd. Not even ls, and it’s not like I could use nano to edit my bashrc

So I reset the $PATH variable

That allowed me to use the commands above that I couldn’t before. Then I could edit my bashrc

Will this tech even work with what I currently have?

If it can work with my tech, how much hassle will it be to install/integrate/get working with?
Are there tutorials out there that prove that it can work with that I have?
